Junk Bonanza Sale This Weekend!

Just a quick post about the fantastic event Urban Bohemia will be selling at this weekend!  Junk Bonanza 2010 is this Thursday September 16- Saturday September 18 at Canterbury Park in Shakopee, MN.  Rather than trying to rephrase what an awesome shopping event this will be, I'm giving you the description striaght from the event website:

The Bonanza hosts more than one hundred juried "junk" vendors of vintage finds, beautiful antiques, one-of-a-kind and artisan-repurposed pieces. There's also a farm market with local harvest goods and gourmet treats, plus plenty of other activities and displays to explore.

Happy 4th of July everyone!  Ah, America in the summer time... BBQs, weekends at the lake, baseball... and garage sales!  What?  Yes, Urban Bohemia will be selling at a good old fashioned American garage sale next weekend, July 10 & 11, 2010.  Come join us at 1640 Independence Avenue South, St. Louis Park, MN 55426.  Hours are Saturday 8-3 and Sunday 9-2.  I'll have some photos coming soon.  :)

So here you go- the first sneak peak of the next Urban Bohemia sale at the Anoka Antique Show and Flea Market, this weekend at the Anoka County Fairgrounds.  Hope to see you all there!

Summer Sale Dates Announced

*7/4/10 Update- Urban Bohemia will NOT be selling at the Cambridge Antique Fair this year due to a scheduling conflict.  Please come visit us at another sale! 

Happy Memorial Day Weekend, Folks.  Ah yes, the beginning of summer... BBQs, boat rides, and outdoor flea markets!  Urban Bohemia will be selling at 2 events this summer (and maybe more?):  The Anoka Antique Show and Flea Market at the Anoka County Fairgrounds on June 5 & 6, 2010 (that's next weekend!) and The Cambridge Antique Fair at the Isanti County Fairgrounds on August 7 & 8.  We've gathered a lot of cool new merchandise so come to one or both of the summer sales and stock up on affordable and eclectic home decor.  Check back here in the next couple of days for sneak peeks of the sale merchandise.  And make sure to save the date for our fall sales as well.  Happy summer shopping!

Urban Bohemia Fall 2010 Sale Dates Announced!

Urban Bohemia has confirmed we will be selling at two markets in the fall of 2010.  I know, I know- let's enjoy the summer first before we start worrying about falling leaves!  But consider this your save the date invite for the following:

Urban Bohemia will be at Junk Bonanza from September 16, 17, & 18, 2010 at Canterbury Park in Shakopee, MN. 

We will also be returning to the Antique Spectacular and Flea Market at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds on October 2-3, 2010. 

This summer will be full of recycled and vintage buying trips, and lots of work with our online store, so it remains to be seen if we can squeeze in any flea markets over the next few months.  But never say never, eh?  We'll keep you posted right here.  Or better yet- sign up for our email list and be sure to get all the latest updates and reminders for sales.

I wanted to give everyone a look at some of the great and thrifty art finds we've acquired, which we will be selling at the upcoming show this weekend.  Recycled art and photography can really clean up quite nicely, and to boot won't break the bank.  These are only a handful of the works we'll have for sale, so make sure you come and check out the rest of our inventory this weekend.

Online Store Coming Soon!

In addition to gearing up for the flea market and antique show at the Minnesota State Fair Grounds on April 17 & 18, we've also been working on getting an online store up and running.  Urban Bohemia will soon be selling some of its fabulous vintage home decor merchandise on Etsy.  Although our traveling sales have recycled decor from any decade, our Etsy store will focus on our vintage products- think 80's and going backwards.  (Um, yea.  I cannot believe that 80's is now considered vintage!)  Sign up for our email list and we'll keep you posted as to when the online shop opens!
